Note: Students under the age of 18 cannot take adult classes unless it is specified as accepting children or teens in the class description. In addition, ages for those 18 and younger must be provided on our class registration form.

Several classes that are offered for adults are also available for teens. See the

An Art Club Flamingo

Flamingos Art Club - Sam & Kate Mylin

“Art Keeps Happening!” Children can experience the creative process through the basics of art and more! A development experience for young artists, clubbers create artwork through the basics of art to “master” their pencils, other media, and much more!

Painting Camp for Creative Kids – Carol Herr

Monday – Friday, 9:30am-3pm,
July 9 – 13,
Ages 10 – 17

This year our “Painting Camp” will use nature as inspiration and subject matter to create paintings in a variety of mediums. Students will go beyond the usual school projects and create pieces in watercolor, acrylic, mixed media and more! Color and color mixing, composition, texture and painting techniques will be covered.

Parents – if you have a creative kid who loves to paint, this is the art camp for them. All supplies are included in the fee. Students will use adult painting materials such as canvas, tube paints, watercolor paper, etc. Students should wear old clothes or bring a smock.

Generations Art Camp, “ Everyone Jump In” – Sam & Kate Mylin, Carol Herr

Monday – Friday, 10am – 3pm,
July 30 – August 3,
$200 per family (1 adult & 1 child)
(extra children, $25 each),
Ages 7+

Jump in to our “family fun camp”! Summer will be over before you know it, take the time to spend a fun, creative week with your kids or grandkids! Each day will feature new projects and mediums to explore and work with.

Parents and kids will work together on many projects, however we will have a separate “adult – jump in project” each day to give Mom or Dad a little break.

Families only. Maximum of 3 children per adult. Bring a packed lunch. Wear old clothes or bring a smock.

Halloween or Holiday Painting Surprise for Creative Kids – Carol Herr

Saturday, 10am-1pm,
(Halloween- Oct. 20),
(Holiday- Dec. 8),
Ages 9 – 15
$25/$30 each 1 day workshop

Take one or both of these workshops. Halloween is kreepy and kooky and lots of fun! The Holiday workshop focuses on creating items for gift giving and display. These projects are a surprise but will have them working with acrylic paint and other materials to create masterpieces!

Those taking the Halloween workshop can even display their piece in the LCAA gallery during our “Mystery Pop Up Exhibit!

Students should wear old clothes or bring a smock. All materials included.
