Note: Students under the age of 18 cannot take adult classes unless it is specified as accepting children or teens in the class description. In addition, ages for those 18 and younger must be provided on our class registration form.

Several classes that are offered for adults are also available for teens. See the

Open Studio for Teens with Elizabeth Stepenaski

Sundays, 1-3pm,
Through the summer
$5/student

This Open Studio is a great time for High School students to come in and develop their art. Traditional painting, drawing or digital media are welcome. Easels and tables are available for use.

Teens should bring their own supplies.

Painting Camp for Creative Kids – Carol S. Herr

Mon. – Fri. 9am-1pm,
July 8 – 12,
$135 & $15 materials fee (paid to instructor),
Ages 10 – 17

“Color” is the theme of this year’s Painting Camp. Students will explore color in a variety of painting mediums with projects exploring varied subjects including landscape, still-life, portraiture, abstract design and more! They will get to use and experiment with adult materials such as canvas, acrylic paints, watercolor, and much more. Students will learn to express themselves through color and art and the emotions that color conveys in various combinations.

A Brush with Nature- Drawing, Painting & Clay Camp – Carol H. Dale

Mon. – Thurs. 9am-3pm,
July 22-25,
$160 & $15 materials fee (paid to instructor),
Ages 10 -16

Students will sketch outdoors and draw inspiration from nature. They will return to the studio to create nature themed art in clay, drawing materials and paint. They will experiment with hand-building clay techniques and a variety of drawing and painting materials to produce artwork inspired by the natural world.

Flamingos Art Club - Art Happens! Sam & Kate Mylin

“Art Happens” when you master your media and tools! This session will involve the “Basics of Art”, “Creative Process” and the “Art of Controlling your Creative Chaos”. Take out the last session of the decade in an excellent manner!
