Note: Students under the age of 18 cannot take adult classes unless it is specified as accepting children or teens in the class description. In addition, ages for those 18 and younger must be provided on our class registration form.

 

Sam & Kate Mylin – Summer Art Camp “Art Happens!”

Monday – Friday, 9am – 3pm (half days available) June 26-30
$200 full day / $100 half day
Children – ages 7 - 12

Art Camp returns to the LCAA in June with our theme “Art Happens!” Campers will explore the basics of art, the creative process, color, art history as well as art appreciation! Controlling our media and making our artwork communicate to those living in a visual world! Art Camp is designed to “ignite creativity “ and develop relationships with each other as well as the world of ART! Sign up today!

 

Carol Herr – Painting Camp for Creative Kids “Focus on Nature”

Monday – Friday, 10am-1pm
July 10-14
$120 & $15 materials fee (paid to instructor)
Children – Teens, ages 10 – 16

This year our “Painting Camp” will use nature as inspiration and subject matter to create paintings in a variety of mediums. Students will go beyond the usual school projects and create pieces in watercolor, acrylic, mixed media and more! Color and color mixing, composition, texture and painting techniques will be covered.

Parents – if you have a creative kid who loves to paint, this is the art camp for them. All supplies are included in the materials fee. Students will use adult painting materials such as canvas, tube paints, watercolor paper, etc. Students should wear old clothes or bring a smock.
